India delegation visits the EUIPO in Alicante

The India delegation visited Alicante from January 18 to 22. The EUIPO received them warmly and prepared a wide range of sessions and activities involving EUIPO experts on quality management, information and management IP tools, the academy, trade marks and designs examination, the Madrid Protocol and other subjects including risk management. The IPC-EUI Project Management Team (PMT) organised a visit to Jijona, an exemplary GI of the region where traditional know-how to produce 'turrón' was shown to the Indian delegation. Overall the visit was a success and the Indian delegation benefited from sharing best practice and the information exchange. Moreover, The PMT presented the draft Anual Working Plan 2016 and the Indian delegation agreed to all the proposed activities.
