Specialised Training on Trade Marks at the RGNIIPM

On the 27 February 2017 the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM) is hosting an IPC-EUI event in association with EUIPO.

IP experts from the EUIPO and the CGPDTM will deliver a specialised training to attorneys and IP advisors in order to enhance their capacity to play an active role in developing a broader IP-intensive business community in India, especially as regards SMEs.

The event will serve as a basis for the creation of a knowledgeable IP support community that will be in a position to provide expertise to the Indian business community. The topics to be covered will be explained through practical examples and exercises, namely:

  1. Unconventional trademars with special emphasis on absolute grounds.
  2. GIs and trade marks and GIs in trade marks.
  3. Advantages, good to know, importance for business strategies.
